About the service
Youboxd is an online platform accessible at youboxd.com that allows users to publish reviews of YouTube videos, discover content, interact with a community, follow other users, and like or comment on content. The referenced videos come from YouTube. Youboxd is an independent service and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
Acceptance of terms
By using Youboxd, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.
Eligibility
To use Youboxd: • you must be at least 13 years old • you must comply with the laws applicable in your country • you must provide accurate information when registering Youboxd reserves the right to refuse or suspend access to the service.
User accounts
Some features require creating an account, including: publishing reviews, liking content, following other users, and reporting content. The user is responsible for the security of their account, the accuracy of the information provided, and any activity carried out from their account.
Third-party authentication
Youboxd allows sign-in via third-party services (Google, Twitter/X). In this case, certain information may be shared with our platform: name, email address and profile picture. Youboxd does not store your third-party service passwords.
User-generated content
Users may publish reviews, ratings, comments and public profiles. The user retains ownership of their content. However, by publishing on Youboxd, you grant Youboxd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute and promote this content on the platform.
Prohibited content
It is strictly forbidden to publish illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, misleading, spam, or copyright-infringing content. Any violation may result in content removal and account suspension without prior notice.
Moderation & reporting
Youboxd reserves the right to remove content, restrict certain features, or suspend an account if the rules are violated. Users can report content deemed abusive, illegal, misleading or offensive. Youboxd will review reports and may take appropriate action.
Intellectual property
The following elements are protected: site design, logo, brand, database, algorithms. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited. The Youboxd database is protected by database laws — any substantial extraction is prohibited. It is also strictly forbidden to mass-extract data from the site, use bots or crawlers, or reproduce the Youboxd database.
Copyright & claims
Users must respect copyright. If you believe that content infringes your rights, contact us at contact@youboxd.com including: identification of the content concerned, proof of ownership, and your contact details.
Abusive use
It is forbidden to create multiple accounts to manipulate the system, spam reviews, manipulate likes, or attempt to disrupt the service. Users must also not attempt to hack the service, circumvent technical protections, or exploit security vulnerabilities.
Availability & limitation of liability
Youboxd may modify the service, suspend certain features or perform maintenance. The service is provided as-is with no guarantee of continuous availability. Youboxd cannot be held liable for content published by users, content from YouTube, or any losses resulting from use of the service.
Termination
Users may delete their account at any time from the settings. Youboxd may suspend or delete an account if the terms are violated, abuse is detected, or harmful behavior is observed.
Governing law & amendments
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Youboxd may amend these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the site. Continued use of the service after amendment constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
