The thing that ruins Thanksgiving where he goes back and tries giving his food to the homeless man was probably my absolute favourite part, it was just incredible. Stunts I could never pull off without days of practice with priceless humour. The reoccurring yams gag was also so good xD

What the hell did I just watch.

This is a triumph in longform storytelling on the YouTube platform. It combines the simple but ultimately engaging progression of a shounen with machinina stunts creating a genuinely engaging and interesting watch from start to finish. If you can handle the frankly repetitive dialogue and sound effects (this was very obviously made for a younger attention-starved audience initially) then this is a lovely way to spend an afternoon or a couple days in chunks.

Yeah I totally get why obs was canceled after this, it must’ve taken a lot out of Sacri but I’ll miss it, it definitely had a lot of flaws and doesn’t quite hold up as well all these years later but it had some really cool ideas that I’ve never seen an object show do before or since and this episode is really representative of the series as a whole, the good and the bad
